Dear Branham Music Families,
The Branham Music Program provides incredible opportunities for our students, which would not be possible without the generosity of our families and community. While the district provides limited funding, much of the program's annual budget is raised by Branham Music Boosters through donations and fundraising. This funding helps support and grow all Branham Music programs by funding necessities such as classroom supplies, new instruments and equipment, instrument repair and maintenance, sheet music, concert and event expenses, and more.
This year, we're launching our first Annual Giving Drive with a goal of raising $25,000. If successful, this fundraiser will replace concert ticket sales and help reduce the number of fundraising events and donation requests throughout the year, making it easier for everyone while continuing to provide exceptional opportunities for our students. We are asking each music family to consider a tax-deductible gift of $100 per student, or more if you're able. Every gift, of any size, helps us invest in our students and keep music thriving at Branham High School.

Q: Is this donation the same as my Marching Band/Color Guard Fair Share Pledge?
A: No, this donation will be used to support students in all music programs, including Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Music Production, and more. Fair Share pledges are individual donations for Marching Band/Color Guard participants and are collected separately.
Q: Why are we starting a Giving Drive?
A: Our goal is for the Giving Drive to replace the existing process of selling tickets at concerts and other year-round fundraisers. Instead of making multiple requests of parents and charging for student concerts, a successful Giving Drive would allow the Music Boosters to streamline our donation events to just a few times a year and make every concert free for all.

Q: What do district funds pay for?
A: District funding primarily goes towards staff (coaches) salaries. You can check out all of our coaches on our Staff page.​

Q: What does my Giving Drive donation help cover?
A: Funds raised through the Giving Drive will help cover classroom supplies and educational materials, instrument repair and maintenance, new instruments and equipment, sheet music, student scholarships, the costs of putting on concerts and events such as Jamba Jamboree, and more.
The majority of our students use school-owned instruments, so families generally do not need to purchase or rent an instrument for their student. Maintaining and repairing those instruments is an important part of keeping them available for our students—especially when private instrument rentals can cost approximately $20–$50 per month. Your support helps us continue providing these resources while keeping the cost of participating in our music programs as accessible as possible.
